Intellivision was my first gaming console as well (5 yrs old). I can never forget the first time I played games such as Beauty and the Beast, Dracula, Astrosmash, Demon Attack and Lock n Chase. The graphics were so much better than all the Atari games I had played at friends houses. I remember my Dad and his friends being hooked on the boxing game. From what I recall, the Imagic games always seemed to have the games with the best graphics.

I remember the first time I saw an Intellivision (this was after ive played on an 2600) and thought it was the weirdest looking thing ever. Whoo, I just realized I was a Atari fanboy :P

Oh well. Im with you on the "no split screen" rule. I lug my 29" old crt tv all over. It isnt that bad but in the future I will have to force myself to clean my car if I ever want to lug a 32" lcd tv around.

ps - Goldeneye 007 for life!

I had both the original and the Intellivision II units and about 30 games... and I saved everything!

When xbox released Intellivision Lives I was one of the first idiots to run out and pay $50 for it thinking it would be one of the hottest things ever. The only games on it I really liked were Shark! Shark! and Frog Bog... all my favorites weren't even there... and to make it worse, within a month the game was selling in stores for $20. Definitely one of those "what was I thinking" moments!

Lilly... wow... yeah... that would be great if you read this... remember me? probably not... thanks!

Those certainly were some interesting graphics back in the day, huh? LOL ... Love those old pictures. Do you still have your Intellivision? And more importantly, I wonder if Lilly will read this. :)
